My perfect Mother’s Day…sleep late….coffee…just sitting and drinking coffee…no doing laundry or dishes and having to reheat the coffee! Spending time with the kids and hubby…with no one yelling or screaming or whining [and that includes hubby, too]. Dinner made by hubby and then maybe a late-night drink out by the pool…and then NO WORK ON MONDAY! :)
Have a great Mother’s Day, Y’all!

My perfect Mother’s Day would in include, my Mom(Sandy )& Dad (Dave); My Daughter(Darc)& her husband (Jeff); My Sons(Aaron & Luke) and all 6 of my grandchildren(Torri, Kenni, Cassie, Jayce, Caleb & Caitlyn…. nothing would be better!
Starbucks, sleep (as much as I want of it), and vegging in front of my tv. I’m a simple girl.
How ’bouts you share the recipe for a lemon meringue martini??

Sleep past 7am, cute homemade gifts from the kidos, a foot rub from the hubby, a nap, hubby at the grill and at the dishwasher, cheesecake and a Jane Austen movie fest. Of course all the while the kidos are well behaved and calm and only ask daddy for things they need. How would it be!

Sleep in late…read the Sunday paper…get a pedicure…have a mojito on a patio somewhere. Sounds feasible! BTW: I found you on Mama Speaks. You beat me for the “job” and I must admit that you’re a better writer, so I see why you were chosen. Happy Mother’s Day and hope to hear from you on my blog!
My perfect Mothers Day: breakfast period lol
You’re going to have to let me know about those martinis. Lemon Meringue? Floating candles??

My perfect Mother’s Day will be tomorrow. Why a day early? In-laws are crashing the actual day. yeah.
So anyway – sleep late, breakfast served by the most beautiful little waitresses. I don’t do breakfast in bed. I already have my personal gift from them – they painted me a wooden art thing for my wall. :) Anxious to see the cards though. Then Annie, Catie and I are going to Lowe’s to build Memory Boxes (LOVE their kids projects!), then all of us are off to a local church’s spring festival. Chris will grill out tomorrow night, probably tuna, and he’ll make me a cosmo or two. I can’t wait!
Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

…not one single sassy teenage remark for a whole day!
It has been a hard week here. I think I am just going to be so thankful to be whole, so thankful that my children are all healthy. The bickering, and the teasing and the dirty socks on the floor…they are all so trivial, and I don’t think they are going to bother me at all tomorrow.
I hope I hear little footsteps at 7:00am and I hope four smiling children wake me from sleep with hugs and kisses. I can’t wait to see what they’ve made me in school…they’ve alluded to the surprises. I hope we get to go flower shopping…that was the plan but it’s been raining for two days there is more rain to come. And I hope my husband will make dinner–he always does on Mother’s Day. I hope most of all that I can truly understand how lucky, how blessed, I am. But can you ever really, really appreciate what you have until it is gone?

my perfect mothers day would be to sleep in, read the paper, take a long nap. maybe go out to dinner. then spend sometime alone (is that bad?!)
I don’t need any fancy gifts, I just want to sleep late and eat out. And maybe take a nap. And then crawl in bed early and watch mindless TV.
Can you tell I’m tired? All The Time. :)
Darcie, I hope you have a great day tomorrow!
