  1. Eww….that thing is awfully spiny!

And doesn’t look so native for this area, so is it a lost pet?

I think I would have ran away screaming….screw the camera!

  2. Yikes! Is that thing as big as it looks???

  3. Eek! I mean ewww… :)

  4. Ewww!

  5. What in the world is it?!?! I’m hoping the camera angle makes it look bigger than it really was…

  6. That is a horny toad, right? We just saw one of those on a walk a few days ago…

  7. Me

Too bad the girls are gone, they would have loved it. Was that yesterday or today and what is it?

  8. AW- I actually like reptiles! - As long as they don’t bite and stuff.

  9. Ooh cool, sorta.

    Yikes!

  11. Hi -

My friend Jo told me about your website (I’m in the desert as well). I have to say, I’m glad I don’t find that guy on my front porch - with three boys, i know they’d want to keep him!

    Have a great day!

  12. Niiiiiiice.

That thing looks like it EATS stray cats….

  13. Awww…how cute. KIDDING! I’m thinking that our big dog would have a hayday with that thing. Until she tried to eat it and it got ticked off. Horny toads are so prehistoric-looking! Maybe you can adopt it and put a leash around it for walks?

  14. I LOVE LIZARDS!

  15. Just thought I’d let you know that this picture made my kids day. They want to see it again and again and now they want to move to Arizona where they have cool animals not just dogs.
