To Explain My Absence

August 26, 2008 · 11 comments

I’m swamped.

I’ve neglected my blog reading.

And responding to my comments.

And now I’m just stopping in to tell you that I’m neglecting tonight’s post as well.

I feel as though I’m engaged in a quiet combat with the school.  One that has left me drained and saddened.

And I’m busily preparing for a certain trip to Disney World.  One that should remedy the drain.  And definitely the sad.

Oh yeah.  And I’m supposed to be training for a 5K.  In my spare time of course.

I’ll catch up with you all soon.

Promise.

Take the time you need, we all get overwhelmed. Unfortunately, reading and writing are my therapy. ;)

I agree with Jen, take you time! We’ll be ready to hear all that is happening when you get a minute or two.

Hang in there!

You just take care of the things you need to, girl. I can imagine the toll this whole school situation is taking on you, and I am truly sorry that you have to deal with it all. Praying for you!

Take care Darcie!!! Rest up. It’s no fun to be sad, especially when it has to do with our children, and protecting their rights. Saying a little prayer for you…

Don’t you worry about it! We will all still be here when things settle down and you resolve the issues with the school. It will get better and we will keep you in our prayers in the meantime.

You have a lot going on. I pray for you and the school situation. It’s a shame you have to deal with that. *hugs*

Don’t worry about the absence – we all have to recognize when it’s time for real life to take over. Sorry to hear about the school situation. But am really glad you at least have the trip to look forward to through that.
