Well we all know how I feel about Christmas Music, I have been stealing a listen or two, since I probably have the biggest selection of Christmas Music this side of the Mississippi. And to whom is the Grandma selection referring to?

I tried your iced pumpkin cookies. I am not a huge fan of pumpkin (so I didn’t try one) but every LOVED them. My staff at work talked about them all day! Thanks for the recipe so I could be popular for a day!!

What a perfect opportunity for me to express my feelings on Christmas music in general. I claim that if it were actually any good – then we’d be listening to Christmas music all year long!

Christmas only serves as an opportunity for musicians to lay down their integrity, pride, and creativity so that they can quickly double their album sales with the trillionth rendition of ‘White Christmas.’ Anytime you have to request a song by both title and artist – there is a problem (with an exception to a hand full of tasteful covers).

That being said, I will give ‘Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer’ a free pass.

Well, you should try living up here…there is one particular radio station that plays Christmas music roundtheclock beginning the Friday before Thanksgiving. I guess I don’t mind it too much…except that the Christmas music they choose is awful…but it kind of just puts me in the holiday mood. Even for Thanksgiving. And I am one who as a rule will not decorate before Thanksgiving. Will.not.do.it!

I don’t like how Thanksgiving got the boot. I see lonely turkey decorations already on clearance and the big day hasn’t even arrived. We don’t start any Christmas decorating until the day after…when Elfis arrives.

Well it’s a winter wonderland at our house! We did all the Christmas decorating on Saturday, and yesterday we watched Christmas movies. Typically this is done the day after Tgiving, but we were going out of town for the holiday this year, and then with me being gone for a week in early Dec, this just worked.

I agree, in my book, turning on Christmas music or putting up decorations before Black Friday should be breaking some sort of “holiday law”! (For the record, our house lights are up since we contract that work out, but they are NOT turned on until after Christmas)!
