You have certainly met your goals—and extra credit for choosing to be a dad when you didn't even have to. I was also once a single mom and I know all about how special the person is who chooses to love another's child as their own and the difference they make for their child every day. I know my oldest daughter's life is profoundly better because my hubby chose us and it is plain to see how you make your kids' days better all the time. I hope you had a very happy birthday!
