And you are beautiful so I’m not surprised that the grocery guys are hitting on you. But now I’m SO curious which “Fry’s guy” you are referring to…

And I am so going to shop at the new Safeway when it opens, although I probably will still make some trips to Fry’s as well. I hope the developers put some useful things in that shopping center. Like a real sit-down restaurant perhaps. I just don’t want another nail salon, fast food establishment, or hole-in-the-wall cafe. But maybe that’s just me.

There’s this creepy guy at my closest grocery store. It’s literally 1/2 mile from my doorstep, but I never shop there anymore. He means well, but he hovers, and always wants to talk to the kids. My daughter is actually a little afraid of him, but he doesn’t get the hint, and always wants to talk to her. She’s five! In my head I called him creepy guy for years, and then the funniest thing happened — I hadn’t realized his name is actually Guy! So now we drive 2 miles to Safeway to avoid him altogether. (Plus I like our Safeway better — the bakery rocks.)

Anyway, I sympathize!
