Just one of the many reasons why it sucks not having any family or friends close by.

That is a bummer. That would be exactly why my husband would tell me that I need to learn how to change a tire. Did you have to call a tow truck or AAA?

That is too bad! I hope your day gets better!

this does stink! the not having people near, is a tough one. When we relocated, in 2007- my husband had to wait 7 months before he came out. In the day his plane was arriving “for good” (no quick visit trips,) my daughter and I were on our way to the airport to get him, when a tire blew. I knew not the first thing about changing a tire. Finally, this great guy stopped and did it, but it took forever. Something about a rusted, something or other.
Then, I was pulled over, on my way there, for a routine stop.
Then, pulled over AT the airport, for circling through “arrivals” more than once.
I hate tires. They always make a day go sour!

I hope you break the rules though, and find incredible snippets in the day.

I’m sorry. What did you do? I’ve always had a fear of car trouble and not having someone to call. I always had trouble with Geoff’s stupid BMW when he was away.

Oh, yuck. I hope the rest of the day has been better. But I know when it starts of like that, there is often a little bit of a domino effect. :( Hoping you avoid any further sucky stuff. Pardon my french.
