You’ve Heard of Brain Freeze? I’ve Got Brain Fry.

April 7, 2009 · 12 comments

I hate it when my brain is so fried I can’t come up with a blogging topic.

My brain is precisely that fried though.

Because I’ve been writing.

A lot.

A whole, whole lot.

Just not here.

I’ve resumed a local paying writing job.

But more importantly…

I’m doing some major revisions on my novel.

It’s taking all the brain power I have.

The blog is suffering.

The kids are suffering.

And Jeff is most certainly suffering.

But it may just be worth all the suffering in the end.

Please bear with me.

I miss you too.

I think it’s great that you’re doing other things too. I’ve decided there shouldn’t be any such thing as a “blog that is suffering,” and of course I mean that for myself more than anyone – if you don’t feel like blogging, then don’t. Ah, feel the freedom:)

What is your novel about?

Oooh. Tell us more about the local job. :)

And best wishes on your novel. Remember us when you’re rich and famous and your book hits the silver screen!

What’s the local writing gig? That’s really cool! I’d love something like that. But I have no time. I gots nuttin left, let me tell you.

Good luck on the novel. And I mean that sincerely…I’m doing the same thing, only I have barely started and I hate what I wrote. I’m lost. Crap. Don’t make me think about it.
