I don’t know what it is but whenever my husband is gone and things go wrong I hold a grudge against him. It’s so stupid too because usually he’s gone for business and as the sole income earner you’d think I’d be more understanding.

Here’s mine:
At a week and a half post partum toddler will start taking 1-hr naps. But the one day this week that hubby stay home to help, said toddler will take a 4-hr nap leaving hubby to wonder what all the complaining is about.

Oh boy. It sounds like quite a week. I HATE it when my husband goes out of town.

I can so relate to overlooking the the important school notice. Which reminds me, I need to make some peanut butter balls tomorrow for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Wow to Heather – she went all out for teachers. We need someone like her at my school. I’m more of the tea bag w/ post it kind of gal ;) I love the way you wrote this – reminds me of the when you give a mouse a cookie stories. Hope the rest of the week gets better.

Too bad you didn’t get to go to Baltimore but on the bright side the weather in Baltimore has been crummy for the last few days (hubby works in Baltimore).
Teacher appreciation has caught me unprepared this week. I have until Friday to come up with something great…no pressure, right?

I completely agree. I am a glass-is-half-full gal, but honestly the things about hubby’s business trips is totally true. When Chris is gone, it’s a given something will go wrong. Like the last time when we had a debilitating ice storm and lost power for a week. Not cool.

Sorry about the teacher thing…but I can’t believe your school sent a note home about it! I think that’s tacky. Like ‘bring me presents on this day’ people. Sheesh.

I love occasions to gift people, so holidays like this are just right up my alley. :)

Oh man, you had a tough week. I can’t help being a believer in Murphy’s Law, myself.

Now I have to decide what to give the kids’ teachers when I have NO money or craft skills (or tea bags). Wish me luck!

Ooohh yes! My father always says that things happen in three’s (not sure if he’s really done the research), but that does seem to be true around here. :)

Hey, at least you gave a gift to the teacher…I’m sure many other won’t do anything, so you do get a plus for that. ;o)

OH…I wanted to ask you…I saw that you were on the Disney Mom’s panel last year. How did you get on that, and what are your thoughts? Just curious…I love WDW.
