Dresses. Both frilly and not-so-much.
Spring khakis and his signature fauxhawk.
Praise. Worship. And He is risen!
Baskets ‘o’ goodies.
There was chocolate. {the good kind}.
Jellybeans.
Eggs balanced on branches and tucked under vines.
Grilled steak and potatoes. Blueberry mojitos.
Strawberry pie.
Sunshine.
The trickle of water from a fountain.
Birds chirping.
Children laughing.
And Disney talk {our daily fix}.
All week I’d built this day up in my mind.
Prepping our hearts for Jesus.
Spending the day together.
Soaking in every moment.
Yep.
It was all it was cracked up to be.
Maybe more.

Looks like fun! Happy Easter!
The pictures as beautiful as your words.
Looks like you got your perfect day :)
Is that where Jack got his mohawk idea from??
Your nest is very full and beautiful! So glad your Easter was full of god chocolate and contentment!
Uh, that was supposed to be GOOD chocolate!
Everything and everyone looks perfect! That strawberry pie looks divine. You’ll have to share the recipe in a future post.
Looks like a beautiful day. We even got 70 degrees and sun way up here in Minnesota!

The more I grow in my relationship with Christ, the more this “holiday” is my favorite!

Jayce looks so old in these pictures! He’s changed overnight, it seems. ;)
I love that you had See’s Candies instead of that fake chocolate sold en masse around Easter. Someone gave our girls a giant chocolate Easter bunny. We tasted it and promptly threw it in the garbage. It didn’t even taste like chocolate! But then again…maybe we’re a little bit “snobby” when it comes to chocolate. ;)
Looks like a perfect day! (And as I read through the paragraphs, I kept thinking, There had BETTER be pictures coming! LOL. Thanks for not disappointing. :-)
Those steak and potatoes look YUMMY!!!
My daughter also got The Princess & The Frog in her basket. :-) The pictures are wonderful…looks like you had a great day!
Jayce is looking too old. Beautiful picture of Kennedy and an awesome picture of the 4 of them!!!! I’m glad you had a nice Easter.
