Head ‘Em Up. Move ‘Em Out.

Betcha can’t guess where we’re headed.

Destination: Disney.  Second star to the right, and straight on ’till morning.

Only this time, destination Disney is much, much closer to home.  That’s because we’re heading to the place where the magic all began: Disneyland!

I’ve got our bags packed.

  • Mickey ears? Check.
  • Lanyards full of pins? Check.
  • Disneyfied shirts? Check.
  • Trick or Treat bags? Check.

You might be asking yourself what on Earth trick-or-treat bags have to do with Disneyland.  Don’t worry; I fully intend to clear up any and all confusion when it comes to Halloween Time at Disneyland.

In due time, friends.  In due time.

I’ll report back soon with plenty of pictures that are sure to delight and dazzle you.  Oh, and dazzle you I will.  How could I not?  Just take a peek at all that Disneyland offers to ensure that their guests enjoy a hauntingly good time!

Not to worry, though.  This doesn’t mean I’m going to abandon you for the duration of the trip.  I hope to blog from California.  And if not, my pre-scheduled posts will come to the rescue.

See ya real soon!

*****Full Disclosure: The folks at Disneyland heard what a die hard Disneyphile I am and have invited my whole family to Disneyland to celebrate Halloween Time.  They’re providing our transportation, resort accommodations, park tickets and even dinner with everyone’s favorite cowboy, Woody!  {Have I mentioned my affinity for cowboys?}  While my appreciation for this opportunity couldn’t be greater, aforementioned appreciation will not influence my opinions when it comes to all things spooky and spectacular taking place during Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.  Rest assured that any and all hype I report back with likely stems from a sugar-induced pumpkin fudge frenzy and the general warm fuzzies that I routinely experience while visiting the House of the Mouse.  I suppose I might be inclined to embellish a little if Woody will agree to let me saddle up and ride off into the sunset with him.  In which case I won’t be back at all, but will instead live happily ever after as a cartoon cowboy’s one and only cowgirl.  Short of that, though, rest assured that I’ll be sharing my genuine, 100% honest experience.*****

Very cook! How awesome that they’re providing this trip for you! I’m sure it works well both ways – a trip for you and great publicity for them. Have a great time!

Fun! Disneyland was my place when I lived on the west coast. I used to go just because I was having a bad day. And dinner with Woody too….how fun! Have a spectacular time!

So fun! Where are the pictures of this year’s shirts?? I might be going one day while you’re there. Maybe we’ll see each other (yeah right…amidst the other fifteen thousand people who happen to be there that day…). :) Have fun, and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

I have a special place in my heart for Disneyland. I could go there many, many times of year and never tire of it. Truth be told, I’m a tad bit jealous of the CA residents who can just hop in the car and spend an afternoon there! ;)

P.S. Say hi to Caryn of Rockin’ Mama for me! She’ll likely be there with her two little ones in tow.
